Clemson University is hands down, one of the most spirited colleges you will find in the Southeast. If you want to experience what we are talking about, just attend a Clemson football game and you might find yourself instantly becoming a Tiger fan and wearing the orange and purple. If you are a collegiate sports fan, you’ll find Clemson has quite a line-up of sporting events throughout the year that you can easily enjoy while living at this South Carolina lakefront community. In fact, The Reserve at Lake Keowee and Clemson University have established a friendly and cohesive relationship through charity golf events and other activities over the past decade.

Downtown Greenville is about 40 minutes from Lake Keowee communties and is one the most dynamic cities in South Carolina. It has undergone a significant transformation during the past decade, all part of a 25-year master plan. Enhancements to the city in the arts, green space, city parks and revitalization of downtown shopping and dining areas are evidence of excellent urban planning. In addition, local and state governments have done a fine job attracting well-known corporations to relocate here which has greatly impacted Greenville’s fortunes. Greenville, South Carolina is pedestrian friendly and notable gathering spots such as Main Street, the Liberty Bridge and Reedy Falls, which flow through town, have made it one of the most attractive and enjoyable mid-sized cities in the southeast.
